Help CCMI grow our IMPACT for coral reefs.
CCMI has run out of space at our current facility in Little Cayman - and we are ready to grow to double our capacity for important research on coral reefs and education programmes to inspire the next generation of ocean stewards.
We will build an 11,000 sq. ft. facility dedicated to research and education, allowing us to run education courses and research programmes simultaneously, reaching more students and marine scientists than ever before. Combined with our current field marine station (5,000 sq. ft.), the extended capacity will enable CCMI to continue growing.
Our new campus will accommodate up to 32 students and researchers at a time, along with accommodation for chaperones, interns, and staff, providing a nurturing environment where ocean stewards can thrive.
With a goal of raising USD $3 million for Phase 1 of the build (over 5,000 sq. ft.), we are already more than halfway there, having secured USD $1.8 million. Your support is crucial for us to complete this project.
